PROCRASTINATION

Haaayyyy....another day...today i have tons of workloads to do but for some reason i feel lazy keep staring on pc to start workin the supposed to do list..but here i am procrastinating again..Well, what is it that makes most people procrastinate about anything?

People procrastinate because they don’t want to do something. Though most won’t own up to it, the main reason for procrastination is fear. If you have to do something that you know, or feel, won’t turn out well, you’ll procrastinate. If you don’t want to do something because you don’t want to know the answer, that’s a type of fear.....actually I hate the feeling of not having done anything. i feel guilty at times...

but instead of working on the million things I should be working on (proposals for clients...they are waiting..), I spent a non-trivial amount of time thinking over nothin... observin the non-essentials and gettin my nerve unto it.

Oh yeah, so back to procrastination, I think that I have a real problem here. It seems everything I do, I wait until the last possible minute, and sometimes even further. It's a real problem when it comes to paying bills, yeah I pay them all, but it's a crapshoot whether or not they get there before the due date....har..har....thats why my credit card was a total shit on the interstest....

I often have trouble sleeping, so there's many days that I'm up at 5:00 AM just doing nothing, yet I still can't seem to make it to work before 9:00. I sit around, watching DVD, or surfing the internets, just following various links wherever the hell they take me, and finally somewhere around 9:00 I'll tell myself, "you know it's really time to get going, you gotta get ready for work". but then...end up in the bed...whaaaa...help me out..somebody stop meee.

Road Less Travelled by..

Im an average gal who took the road less travelled since year 2001.In the beginning, full of confidence, hope and excitement. Now,a bit shaken, a bit stirred and a lot wiser. Survived many humbling experiences and expecting more to come.

Have learnt the virtues of patience and perseverance. . I learnt business from two sources: my grandparents and my failures. My grandparents have been an entrepreneur since the early 1960s. Unlike me, They have done a wide variety of things from retail to merchandising while they never managed to build a really large business, it was very inspiring to see them making a lot of efforts. they never gave up. tHey always believed in the power of knowledge and hardwork.

My grandfather was a chinese guy. My great grandfather (SY Co SOn) whos heritage was from Amoy, China. He was a merchant who often travelled to the Philippines had a very frugal attitude towards life. Aside from the chinese heritage....Freedom is the main reason that kicks me out of the working arena. Im not a 9 to 5 person, I hate the idea of having only 1 hour for lunch and expecting to work till late hours and that leaves and absences have to be approved by your boss...I hate to wake up early, i hate falling in line on jeepneys or mrt. I have a lot of weaknesses for a worker enough for me to decide that i should find ways...

Failures in my life have been the second factor.I accept failure and learning. as part of the process..one has to always look at the brighter side of things as an entrepreneur. As an entrepreneur, there will be more down days than up days.

There are times when I feel like just giving up. feel like running away But I realized must persevere. Failure and success are two sides.Life has its ups and downs, happiness and sadness, triumphs and frustration of the same coin. One will come with the other.

My entrepreneurial journey will go on...it maybe bumpy at times but it makes me more stronger and a better person humbled by trials and failures

Martha Stewart Syndrome

This is strange im having this (MSS) MArtha Stewart Syndrome trying to organize and fix things possible in my unit lately. While i was cleaning the kitchen my fridge for 8 years caught my attention it seems its time for me to upgrade to a bigger one to organize the meat, vegetables water, milk, ice cream, cheeze etc section by section....whew i told yah this syndrome is not easy...I search in the net what the "It" thing in the refrigerators and the side by side fridge perfectly fit to my ideal plan in food organizing.

Right away i went to Ansons and megamall for the fridge hunting. and tadaaa...i found this lovely side by side ref right before my own eyes....as if inviting me....(buy me..buy me...im the one you need) as impulsive as i am and my mantra was battling within me mix with the matha steward syndrome i was glued. staring at the 19 inch samsung side by side..33 inches...whoah will this fit to my not so big kitchen???

Well i purchased it anyway...it so huge for a single person living in a a 65 square meters condo but who cares anyway....im on this martha moment...
As of this writing....am in between organizing the carrots, fruits....chicken...damn what time is it now???
