I need to shed some light between the difference of two wireless encryption WPA (WiFi Protected Access) or WEP (WEP (Wireless Encryption Protocol) they say that as far as security is concerned WPA Personal encryption is the better option for home wireless network while WEP is not too reliable security because it can be cracked in 3 seconds
I have a linksys router connected to laptop and desktop, running wirelessly in my condo for some 2 years with no problems whatsoever. Recently, I am trying to connect my ibook but to no avail it wont connect to the routerget an error message that says it can't connect to the network and that password is incorrect.which am pretty sure i entered the password phrase correctly.I tried using it in the clubhouse or coffee shop but it works fine
Does Linksys routers work with Macs? My pcs connect to it works fine both wired and wirelessbut the Ibook is not. Im using the WPA-Personal network authentication and AES data encryption. I tried changing from AES to TKIP. dont know what seems to be the problem.
